How coaching helps with ADHD at work and in business

Running a business or holding down a demanding job with ADHD often looks like this:

You're capable, you care about doing good work and yet the day still slips away from you.

  • Starting a task feels way more difficult than it should

  • Finishing what you start can feel just as hard

  • A decision or a client email gets replayed long after the moment has passed

The day ends with that familiar, deflating thought:

I didn't get enough done today

Overthinking is often your brain trying to protect you from getting something wrong again and starting or finishing tasks is genuinely harder when your brain works differently, it's not a matter of effort or willpower.

Together, they can quietly eat away hours you meant to spend working.

Coaching helps you understand why this happens and gives you real tools to actually start, follow through, and interrupt the spiral before it takes over your afternoon.

"A little support can get you to reach

your goals far easier and faster

than going it alone.

Coaching isn't about being

told what to do.

It's a collaborative process,

with real understanding of

ADHD and guidance behind it."

Executive Functioning:

Why It's Not Laziness

You know exactly what needs doing.

You could probably write the list in your sleep and yet somehow it's 4pm and you've started researching a completely unrelated idea and still haven't touched the thing you actually meant to do.

Does any of this sound familiar?

  • Starting a new idea is easy, you go all in without really thinking about the detail or the huge mountain you are about to climb, but staying with it once the excitement wears off is where it falls apart

  • Finishing a client call and knowing the notes still need writing up, except that boring, painful admin is the last thing you want to do once the interesting part is over

  • Deciding which task to tackle first can take longer than just doing any one of them

  • You know exactly what you should be doing and still can't bring yourself to do it, which feels like laziness but isn't

  • Some days you're unstoppable, other days you can't get past opening your laptop

This isn't about trying harder. It's executive functioning, and it's a genuine part of how the ADHD brain works, not a discipline problem.

Coaching helps you build systems that follow your natural instincts and work with how your energy fluctuates throughout the day, so things get started, get finished, and stop piling up into guilt.

Words of apprieciation from happy clients...

Paula helped me release self-limiting beliefs around self-worth, money-mindset, and rejection sensitivity which were keeping me stuck in my business.

I've wanted to expand my business offerings to include group coaching in addition to individual ADHD coaching for adults.

Every month I would think about it, then avoid taking action to actually make it happen. I would make some excuse that month about why it wouldn't work.

After working with Paula, I can proudly say I am in the process of creating my group coaching offer!!

I can't express my gratitude and respect for what Paula does enough! She's sincerely talented at what she does!

ADHD Coach

Paula's sessions have been incredibly impactful, helping me gain confidence in social media marketing.

The barriers I once faced with filming and recording myself have completely transformed.

Now, I feel at ease creating social media content to promote myself and my business.

Paula's program has truly made a significant difference in my professional journey. Thanks Paula🙏🏽
